Keeping It Clean

Pick up solids as you would on grass. Rinse the areas the dog uses most, more often in summer heat. An enzyme cleaner designed for synthetic turf breaks down what water alone does not. If odor builds anyway, the usual cause is drainage under the turf, which is why the base matters as much as the product.

Hot surfaces are a real issue for paws in July. Plan shade over the part of the run the dog uses most, and consider a lighter product.
