How We Vet Our Pros
Wasatch Turf Experts is a referral service, not a turf installer. We do not measure yards, write estimates or install turf. When you ask for an estimate, we pass your request to one independent local installer serving the Wasatch Front. Our name rides on every referral, so the bar that installer has to clear matters more than anything else on this site. Here it is, plainly, including what it does not cover.
One Installer, Not Five
Your request goes to one installer only. It is never sold, shared with other companies or sent to a lead list, so you hear from one company instead of five.
What We Require
- Any license the work requires, and insurance. The installer is responsible for its own licensing, insurance and warranty, and must hold whatever license your project requires.
- At least 3.5 stars in public reviews. We will not refer you to an installer whose average public rating is below 3.5 stars. A bad install lands on you first and on our name second.
- Still meeting both. If the work or the reviews slip below that line, we stop referring to that installer.
How We Are Paid
We may be paid by the installer for referrals, at no cost to you. Because the installer pays us, treat us as a starting point rather than an independent judge of any one estimate. The prices on this site are published third-party ranges for orientation, not quotes.
What We Do Not Do
We do not supervise installs, inspect finished work or stand behind the workmanship. The installer does the work and is responsible for it and for its warranty.
What You Should Still Check
- Ask for proof of license and a current certificate of insurance at the estimate.
- Get the price, the turf product, the base depth and the warranty in writing.
- Check your water district before counting on a rebate. Most do not pay for turf; our rebate guide explains which programs exist.
- Check your HOA or city rules on front-yard turf before you sign.
